The Challenge
With the dramatic surge in natural disasters including bush fires, floods, hail and a global pandemic, the need for a fully remote onshore workforce and IT support became magnified. They also realised that the use of aging desktop solutions exposed security vulnerabilities beyond their risk appetite.
The Eighty20 Solution
We were engaged to develop a solution that enabled the Suncorp workforce to conduct their work in a secure remote environment that allowed better communicate and collaborate across all locations. To achieve this, we:
Developed a modern virtualised platform and deployed desktop fleet to entire workforce.
Deployed messaging and collaboration tools that incorporated enterprise governance, standards and controls.
Enhanced device security and management to enable a fully mobile workforce.
Established desktop vulnerability and patching processes that reduced technical risk and improved compliance.
