Connection: face-to-face still matters

As people become more and more reliant on technology, the more we seem to crave human connection.

Over the last 2 years we, at Eighty20, have made a concerted effort to interact and engage with our people through virtual means, this year however as we shift to a post-pandemic phase, and settle back to normality, we took the opportunity to bring the team together for an in-person team building afternoon on Friday 1 July.

During the EOFY wrap up festivities we invited guest speakers Theresa Eyssens, Vice President Customer Solutions & Cloud at Optus, Christian Longstaff, Partner Development Lead at Microsoft and Damien Neale, Channel Manager ANZ, Microsoft Alliances ANZ from AvePoint to join us and share their journeys of growth and inspiration with our team.

The Adventure Quest

We all love a bit of healthy competition, so the adventure quest was a huge success. Thank you to Total Team Building for organising this event. We had so many laughs along the way… And a massive shoutout to the winning team – Ivan Grice, Liam Jermyn, Rajeev Anand and Eklovya Khattar.

We value the importance of being able to interact with each other to build stronger connections and we look forward to continuing to deliver service excellence with a renewed energy and connected culture.
